We partner with ASPCA Spay/Neuter Alliance located in Asheville, NC. The Alliance provides the veterinary services as well as the transport which comes monthly to pick up and drop off the animals. Since 2000, Humane Society has done over 13,000, surgeries for our resident pets. We are very proud of this number and the volunteers of HSLC who work very hard to make it happen. Each month we can transport as many as 70 animals to Asheville, NC for surgery. We have been and remain the second largest transport for ASPCA Spay/Neuter

Registration is a must and we do have 3 registration days each month approximately two weeks before the clinic. These registration dates as well as clinic dates for Humane Society are staffed by volunteers. We have no paid employees.
