PREVENT A LITTER with HSLC Spay/Neuter

Each year hundreds of animals are put to death by shelters, hit by cars, starve and live  miserable lives because there are simply no homes for them to go to. This is a very sad but all to true fact.  Won't you please read this page and then donate to this important program.

Your donations is 100% tax deductible.  Your money will help to fund the services used to support Spay/Neuter here in Lincoln County, NC.

Please help us so that we may help so many!

The Humane Society of Lincoln County has been offering low cost spay/neuter services to the residents of Lincoln County, NC and surrounding counties in NC, since 2000.  We partner with ASPCA  Spay/Neuter Alliance located in Asheville, NC. The Alliance provides the veterinary services as well as the transport which comes monthly to pick up and drop off the animals.  They have a state of the art facility located in the foothills of Asheville, NC.  Check out their website www.humanealliance.org,(Click Tab Below) see for yourself what an amazing company they are.

ASPCA Spay/Neuter Alliance

Since 2000, Humane Society has done over 13,000, surgeries for our resident pets.  We are very proud of this number and the volunteers of HSLC  who work very hard to make it happen.  Each month we can transport as many as 70 animals to Asheville, NC for surgery.  We have been and remain the second largest transport for ASPCA Spay/Neuter Alliance.  Registration is a must and we do have 3 registration days each month approximately two weeks before the clinic.  These registration dates as well as clinic dates for Humane Society are staffed by volunteers.  We have no paid employees.

The price listing and clinic schedule is located on the Low Cost Spay Neuter tab,

Together we can make a difference in the number of animals that are taken to shelters, abandoned and euthanized every year.  Adoption and rescues can only do so much.  Spay/Neuter is the only true answer to pet overpopulation.
